Brooklyn-based artist KAWS is back with his artwork that transform into the digital world. The artist launched a VR experience with collaboration, Acute Art.
Labeled 'Expanded Holiday', the AR-focused project features 12 large-scale AR sculptures featuring KAWS' signature companion that will be made available to fans in major cities internationally. The exhibition will run from March 12 until March 26. The first installment is compromised of 25 AR sculptures that will be available to acquire from the Acute Art's webpage. Members will be able to place, capture and document the KAWS' art pieces through their device. They also have the option to resell the edition. Users will only be able to keep the works for 24 hours or 10 days and share their experience. You can download the Acute Art app on your Apple or Google play store.
