3/19/2020 0 Comments U.S. Art Museums And Fairs Are Being Postponed Or Canceled Due To The Coronavirus
The World Health Organization declared a global outbreak for the coronavirus with over 120,000 individuals being infected. With the virus spreading, art museums and fairs have been canceled or closed. Art events such as the L.A. Art Book Fair and the Paris Photo's inaugural New York edition have been postpone for new dates.
The L.A. Art Book Fair organizers stated about them postponing the event. âOur annual L.A. Art Book Fair is both a celebration and a critical platform for artistsâ books and publishing activity from across the globe. We are grateful for the understanding of our participating artists and publishers, and want to acknowledge the time and effort they have dedicated to developing creative publishing projects for the fair. We encourage everyone to continue to support their work.â More museums such as the Met Museums, The Brooklyn Museum, The Noguchi Museum in New York, The Hirshhorn Museum, and Sculpture Garden are temporary closed and will update the public with more information.
